Each day, more organizations state their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Nevertheless, putting it into action remains a real challenge for most of them, not due to a lack of desire, but because of barriers that appear systematically. Some of them being: complex diagnosis processes, specialized evaluations with high costs, or a lack of internal knowledge to interpret results and act on them.
To erase these barriers, we have developed WISE (Workplace Inclusion & Social Equity), a methodology that allows organizations to measure their degree of maturity regarding diversity and inclusion in an agile, rigorous, and accessible way, generating a personalised action plan.
An extended problem with little visibility
Data reflects that the progress in equality and diversity in the business sector remains slow. In Spain, 30,2% of high-direction positions were held by women in 2025, which was only slightly over the previous year’s data, according to LinkedIn News. In areas such as technology, these gaps persist in an even more significant way, in accordance with recent reports by Observatori Dona, Empresa i Economia.
Behind this data lies a structural problem: many organizations adopt diversity policies (equality plans, internal protocols, sensitization initiatives) without counting on sufficient tools to evaluate if said policies are really working, or identifying aspects that could be improved.
“Until now, many diagnoses regarding diversity and inclusion were complex and high-priced, which left out many organizations with a real desire to improve,” explains Imma Folch Lázaro, DEI Channel’s CEO. “With WISE we want to change that so that neither the size nor the budget of organizations becomes a barrier when building fairer and more inclusive environments”.
A solution that fuses AI with expert criteria
WISE analyses the corporate documentation of each organization –equality plans, RRHH policies, internal protocols– and, through artificial intelligence, it evaluates it through a structured questionnaire with more than 150 indicators based on international sustainability and human rights standards.
The automated analysis is complemented by the revision by DEI specialists, who interpret the results and elaborate recommendations that adapt to the reality of each organization. The result is a clear diagnosis that identifies where the company already makes progress and which fields still gather real improvement opportunities.
WISE evaluates the organization through an integral perspective: from the representation of collectives such as gender, LGTBIQ+ diversity, cultural identity, disabilities or age, to governance, leadership, inclusive culture, human resources or impact on the supply chain and community.
From intention to action
“With time, more and more companies aim to incorporate diversity and inclusion; however, many don’t know where to start or how to track their progress. WISE transforms this compromise into clear diagnostics and detailed action plans”, concludes Folch Lázaro.
